Nargis Fakhri in Rockstar

Imtiaz had been auditioning girls like she did prior Love Aaj Kal when she found half Pakistani & half Czech model Nargis Fakhri. She has not appeared in any Bollywood movie yet but likes Bollywood movies very much. Grown up in New York she underwent many screentests before being finalized for Rockstar opposite Bollywood heart-throb Ranbir Kapoor. The Anglo-Indian looks of Nargis impressed Imtiaz very much and he finalized Nargis Fakhri for the role. While Ranbir plays a rockstar in the movie, Nargis plays a dancer in the movie.

Meet Nargis Fakhri

Imtiaz Ali has an eye for foreign models and now he has trained it on Nargis Fakhri. After Giselle Monteiro, he has snapped up the 22-year old Pakistani-Czech model for his film Rockstar with Ranbir Kapoor. New York based Fakhri was in the running for America's Next Top Model in 2004 and also graced the Kingfisher swimsuit calendar last year.
